Georgetown basketball players help passengers of overturned SUV

WASHINGTON, DC — Members of the Georgetown University basketball team stepped up off the court this week to help passengers of an SUV that rolled off the road after a crash.

On Monday the Hoyas were traveling to Pennsylvania for a game on Tuesday when the team’s bus was involved in a wreck on Interstate 95 outside of Baltimore, according to a tweet posted by the Georgetown Hoyas Athletic Department.

There were no major injuries to the members of  team. No word if the passengers of the SUV were injured or their condition.

After the crash, the bus company provided another bus for the Hoyas to continue its trip, said Georgetown University.
