Springfield police looking for Christmas camera store burglar

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Police are looking for a man who broke into a Springfield camera store on Christmas and stole $70,000 worth of camera equipment.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who entered the store two times. Police describe him as black, 20 to 25 years old, 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, and from 170 to 190 lbs. The store is located at 6025 Burke Centre Parkway.

The suspect was wearing distinctive clothing, including Puma workout pants with knee pads, military style boots, a Nike shirt, and an armored motorcycle jacket.

When he entered the store the first time, the suspect was wearing a dark motorcycle full face helmet with flames. The second time, he had a plaid winter hat with flaps and a scarf covering his face.
