WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Park Service says that after going out Tuesday night, the lights were back on at the Washington Monument Wednesday morning.

According to officials, the lights at the Washington Monument went out Tuesday night around 7 p.m. However, the lights were back on Wednesday morning. The National Park Service tweeted out that this is likely because the lighting system’s clock is out of sync.

The National Park Service also said they expect the problem to be fixed by Wednesday evening.
