Suspect sought in attempted fatal shooting in Northeast

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are looking for a man who they say fired several rounds into a man’s car in an attempt to kill him, although the victim survived.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 12, a suspect who police have identified as Ronnell Holmes, 44, shot the victim in the unit block of T Street, Northeast. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening  injuries.

They have issued an arrest warrant for Holmes with the charge of assault with intent to kill. Holmes is 6’1″, 200 lbs, and is a black male with brown eyes. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent offense committed in the District of Columbia.
