Two boys rescued from mud in Prince George’s

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Two boys were rescued Sunday after being trapped in knee-deep mud in Landover.

Prince George’s County Fire and Rescue responded Sunday morning to a call about two young boys trapped in mud at the intersection of Sheriff Road and Countrywood Court.

The boys were successfully rescued without serious injury. A 10-year-old was pulled out by police, but the second child needed to be extracted by fire and rescue.
