UPDATE: Detectives investigating shooting in Fairfax County

Fairfax County, VA —  Investigators are looking into a shooting that happened in Annandale, Virginia.  Police said the shooting stemmed from a fight that happened outside a home on the 7500 block of Davian Drive around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers said they found two women a short distance away from the fight. Both women ages 19 and 20 were shot and taken to a nearby hospital. Their injuries are non-life-threatening and both are currently in stable condition. During the fight, police said, another woman was injured she has non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth woman, suffered from a medical emergency and was alo treated for a non-life-threatening condition.

According to detectives everyone involved has been accounted.  The firearm has been collected and do not believe there’s any  threat to public safety.

The investigation is ongoing.
