LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — Two teenagers have been arrested for a murder that occurred November 4 in Ashburn, as well as a non-fatal stabbing on the same day.

The juveniles are 16 and 17. Their names are being withheld because of their ages. They’re charged with the murder of Guillermo Piedra-Espinoza, 22, who was found dead in a wooded area.

The non-fatal stabbing was of an 19-year-old Ashburn man, who was taken to the hospital and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say it appears for now that the victims of the assault were targeted, and there is no indication there is a threat to the community.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force and utilizing federal and other regional resources to investigate the case. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact Detective M. Bush at 703-777-0475.
