Woman killed, 5 injured in severe car accident in Northeast

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A severe accident took place Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Eastern Ave. and Division Ave., involving four cars and killing a female passenger.

The injured were four adults and one child. One of the adults had life-threatening injuries, and all others had serious injuries. Another child was treated for their injuries at the scene.

Two passengers were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extracted by DC Fire. All injured were transported to the hospital.
