FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A man was killed in an accident Saturday night when he walked into the road to chase his loose dog and a driver, unable to avoid him, crashed into him.

The driver, 23, stayed on scene with the victim, 46-year-old James Kim, who was transported to the hospital and died of his injuries. The accident took place in the area of Prosperity Avenue and Morningside Drive.
