WASHGINTON, D.C. -- This weekend's Opening Act is the Airmen of Note, the premiere jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force who have been playing a jazz heritage series this year.
This series provides an opportunity for the public to experience the music of the Air Force through the uniquely American-born art form of jazz.
On October 21, they will play a concert that will feature the stylings of Cyrus Chestnut, legendary pianist.
All concerts begin at 8 p.m. at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, located at 4915 E. Campus Dr. in Alexandria. Concerts are free and open to the public.
