PRINCE WILLIAM, CO. – Tuesday at about 8:52AM, PWC officers responded to the Prince William Community Health Center located at 4379 Ridgewood Center Dr in Woodbridge to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that as a patient at the practice was being escorted to a treatment area, he walked by a dentist working on another patient.

The patient, later identified as the accused, produced a knife and stabbed the dentist, identified as a 31-year-old man of Dulles, in an unprovoked incident causing serious but non-life threatening injuries to the dentist. The other patient was not injured. A witness was able to wrestle the knife away from the accused who then fled the health center on foot.

Police located and detained the accused, Titus Orlando Kornegay, without incident in the parking lot a short time later. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
