WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was arrested and charged yesterday in connection with two separate incidents in Southeast where a suspect broke into a home and sexually assaulted an adult male at gunpoint.

Brian Webster, 33, is a Hyattsville man who was charged Saturday with two counts of first degree burglary, two counts of first degree sexual abuse while armed, carrying a pistol without a license and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

The incidents both took place in Southeast. The first was on August 28 in the 1200 block of Massachusetts Avenue, and the second occurred yesterday in the 1300 block of Independence Avenue. The suspect was charged shortly after yesterday’s offense.
