WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police made arrests in 14 different robbery offenses last week, in six different districts.

The arrests were made in seven armed robberies, one armed carjacking, two snatch robberies, two robberies involving violence, and two carjackings.

These arrests come after a recent spate of robberies in an overall difficult year for the District, during which the Washington Post has reported that robberies are on the rise as compared to last year.

All of these arrests were made between last Saturday and this past Thursday, Sept. 22.
