Metrobus crashes in DC, 11 injured

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Twenty people were injured on Sunday morning when a minivan struck a Metrobus in Northeast DC.

Police say that the driver of the minivan crossed the intersection and struck the bus around 11 a.m. DC Fire requested a mass casualty ambulance bus due to the high amount of injuries.

Eleven people were transported with minor injuries to a local hospital, including the driver of the minivan. Police are still investigating.
