Shooting in Northwest D.C. leaves one in critical condition

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early on Monday morning in the 2300 block of 11th Street in Northwest, D.C.

According to police, officers arrived in the area after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was unconscious and not breathing. He was transported to a local hospital, where he is still in critical condition.

The investigation is currently ongoing and no other details are available at this time.
