Ocean City warned of flooding

Hours after Hurricane Hermine made landfall in Florida, the weakened storm is now working its way up the East Coast.

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Ocean City officials are cautioning residents and tourists to prepare themselves for potential moderate flooding to Zone A of the town.

In a statement, they said that the next high tidal cycle at 10:14 p.m. Saturday night may cause tidal surge and subsequent flooding. Damage to Ocean City has been minimal so far, with the town experiencing minor flooding and strong winds.
