Two men shot to death in NE DC

WASHINGTON, DC — Two men were killed late Friday night in a shooting that occurred in the 300 block of 34th Street, Northeast.

Police responded to reports of a shooting and found the victims, Raeshard Blue, 40, and Treyvon Johnson, 27, suffering from multiple and fatal gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced one victim dead on scene and the other was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Both victims were residents of Northeast DC. Police cordoned off the scene and searched for suspects, but have not yet taken anyone into custody in connection with the case.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killings. Information can be provided by calling 202-727-9099, or anonymously by texting the department tip line at 50411.
