The footage the detectives have provided is from the hotel that detectives believe the suspect robbed on Saturday, following the fatal shooting. Both the shooting and the robbery took place in Clinton.

The victim of the shooting is 31-year-old Taiwo Oduwole, of Upper Marlboro. After officers were called to the shooting in the early hours of the 20th, they found Oduwole inside of the store suffering from severe gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at a hospital.

Detectives currently believe the suspect initially intended to rob the store, and that during that robbery attempt, the victim was shot.
