Fire at auto service building leaves one injured

LANHAM, MD – The Prince George’s County Fire Department reported a two-alarm fire at 9400 Lanham Severn Road in Lanham, Maryland. The fire, which broke out at the World Auto Service, left one injured.

Officials say the fire started around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning at the World Auto Service in Lanham. Firefighters were able to put the fire out.¬†One employee was injured with burns to their arms. There has been no update on that employee’s condition.

The Prince George’s County Fire Department has not released any information on what caused the fire. However, they have stated that the estimated fire loss is around $500,000.
