UMD Police arrest Pokémon Go armed robbery suspect

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with the Pokémon Go armed robberies.

Javon Dominique Walker, 22, of Clinton, Md. was arrested for three armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday, July 12.  The robberies occurred between 9:08 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. One robbery occurred near Tydings Hall and the other two occurred near Queen Anne’s Hall. Police say there was a total of four victims. No injuries were reported.

Walker is facing numerous charges.
