D.C. Police seek help in identifying burglary suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a burglary that occurred in the 1700 block of New York Avenue, Northeast. That incident took place on July 8, 2016.

According to officials, at approximately 12 a.m. on July 8, the suspect entered the property and attempted to take cash from the register. Then, the suspect destroyed property in the location. Afterwards, he fled from the suspect fled the scene.
