Prince George’s Co. man dead after motorcycle accident

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., MD – A Fort Washington man is dead after a motorcycle accident that occurred Thursday night, police say.

The victim has been identified as Victor Mason Jr., 28, of Pats Place in Fort Washington. According to officials, patrol officers were called to the 15600 block of Indian Head Highway Thursday night for a crash involving a motorcycle. When they arrived, the officers found Mason Jr. suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say no other vehicles were involved.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was traveling northbound on Indian Head Highway when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck the guardrail.
