DC police seek sexual abuse suspect

WASHINGTON, DC – DC police are searching for a suspect involved with a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense in Southeast DC.

Police say the victim was walking in the 2500 block of Alabama Avenue Southeast on Thursday morning, when she was approached by the suspect who forced her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 40’s, 6″3, 300-400 lbs, light complexion, wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and dreadlocks hairstyle.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099.  Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an assault committed in the District of Columbia.
