House fire in Northwest D.C. leaves four displaced

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A fire at 1824 Calvert Street, Northwest left four people displaced, according to D.C. Fire and EMS. The fire started Sunday night.

D.C. Fire and EMS responded to a call of a fire at 1824 Calvert Street, Northwest around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. A second alarm fire broke out in a 3 story row house. According to officials, it took around 100 firefighters manning twenty units to put bring the fire under control. Overall, it took twenty minutes to put the fire out.

While there were no reports of injuries, D.C. Fire and EMS says that four people have been displaced. The fire did not spread to any nearby homes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
