Detectives release surveillance footage of triple murder suspect

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. --  Three days after the incident, Prince George’s County Police were still searching for the suspect, wanted for a triple murder in the 3100 block of Orleans Avenue.

The department released surveillance pictures, video, held a press conference and canvassed the community.  “We believe somebody knows who this is,” Captain Riley said during the press conference.

Prince Georges county police started circulating pictures of the man they believe shot five people in a District Heights home Friday,  killing three of them.

Investigators said the suspect was caught on camera in a convenience store about thirty minutes before Allen Rowlett, Carlina Gray, and Jan Parks were murdered.  The store is in the 7400 block of Marlboro Pike, less than a mile from the crime scene.

Detectives, also released surveillance video of the alleged suspect fleeing the scene of the crime.

At the press conference, Monday, Captain Riley said, “Our investigation shows a single gunman entered the home,  shot all 5 victims and fled on foot.”
