Prince George’s County Police arrest suspect in attempted murder

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., MD – A Prince George’s County woman has been arrested in connection to a Seat Pleasant shooting.

Dometries Cobb was arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 19.  Officers were called to the 6600 block of Greig Street  by a man who reported a shooting. Upon finding the crime scene, police say witnesses stated that Dometries Cobb and her brother had a physical altercation. Cobb pulled out a gun and shot the victim, her bother, once in the abdomen before leaving the scene .

Cobb was taken into custody without incident after a warrant was issued on June 20.

In addition to Attempted First Degree Murder, Cobb is charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, and Firearm use in a Felonious Violent Crime.
