Police arrest woman wanted for attempted murder

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., MD – Prince George’s County PD have arrested a woman wanted for Attempted First Degree Murder.

According to police, Darshieda Thompson, was in the 6400 block of Grieg Street in Seat Pleasant, MD on June 18 when she became involved in a verbal dispute over a cell phone. Thompson grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in his hand, officials say.

The victim then fled the apartment with this teenage son and left in his vehicle. Police say Thompson is believed to have pursued the victims in her SUV and intentionally rear-ended their vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Thompson has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Injure, and Malicious Destruction of Property, in addition to Attempted First Degree Murder.
