Police ask public’s help in locating missing Sterling teen

STERLING, Va. – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Loudoun County teen. Katie Zamora-Hernandez, 13, was reported missing on June 14.

Police say that Katie Zamora-Hernandez did not return to her home on E. Charlotte Road after school, and they believe she left of her own accord. She was last seen at a shopping center and an apartment complex in Sterling and Dulles area. Before that, she had been reported missing and was later located at a home in Sterling on June 10.

Katie is described as a white female, 4’11” tall and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black, sleeveless V-neck dress. She was also carrying a black and white backpack.
