WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Georgetown Business Improvement District is instating a new summer program to help visitors to the area stay cool during the summer months. ParasolShare will start on Friday, June 17.

The program allows visitors to take a parasol from one of the participating stores, restaurants, salons, galleries, or hotels. They can use that parasol as they shop and walk around Georgetown. Then, as they are leaving, they can drop the parasol back off at a participating location. These locations will run along M Street to Wisconsin Avenue, as well as side streets and the Georgetown Waterfront.

For a complete list of participating locations, you can visit their website here.
