Car crash in Montgomery Co. leaves three injured

SILVER SPRING, MD. – The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services report that several pedestrians were struck during a car crash at the White Oak Apartments in Silver Spring, Maryland. That complex is located at 11500 Lockwood Drive.

According to officials, a car overturned Sunday afternoon, striking several pedestrians, as well as other vehicles. Several people suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident. One person was trapped inside a vehicle involved in the crash and at least two pedestrians were struck. Officials report that three people were transported to a local hospital with priority two traumas. Two of those transported were pedestrians.
