Three Man Soul Machine playing at the Marriott Marquis in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This weekend’s opening act is the Three Man Soul Machine, performing at The Marriot Marquis in Northwest, D.C.

This trio consists of Frank Mitchell, Jr. on tenor saxophone, Carter Stevens on organ, and Mylie Durham IV on drums. The band plays a mix of soul, funk, jazz and reggae.  Over the past Mylie Durham IV and Frank Mitchell, Jr. have played with several other bands, including The Funk Ark, the Harry Bells, See-I, and Thievery Corporation. Now, the trio works to blend their distinct interests and styles into the music they make.
