Former TODAY & CBS News Anchor Katie Couric (an Arlington native)  finds her journalistic ethics under fire for misleading editing  of her upcoming documentary “Under the Gun.”   Regarding the questionable editing of an interview Couric conducted with representatives of the Virginia Citizens Defense League,  “Under the Gun” director Stephanie Soechtig exclusively told DCW50 “NewsPlus” host Mark Segraves this morning:   “Katie is held to a journalistic standard. This is a film, and I’m a  filmmaker and it was my decision.”    Couric is also the Executive Producer and had approved the program content before it was released for review.  “NewsPlus with Mark Segraves” is broadcast this Sunday morning (June 5) on DCW50.
