Fairfax Co. Police seek help identifying robbery suspect

RESTON, VA – Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Major Crimes Division are investigating a robbery that occurred in a 7-11 store located at 2303 Soapstone Drive #C in Reston, VA. The robbery took place on May 20.

At around 6:00am, a man entered the 7-11 store, announcing that he had a weapon and then fled the store with stolen merchandise. The suspect is described as a white male between 35 and 45 years old with brown hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 5’5″ tall, weighing about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green camouflaged hat, green cargo shorts, black socks, and black shoes. He may have left in a vehicle that was waiting for him near Underoak Court.
