The band Black Masala plays at the Friday Night Summer Concert Series in the Yards Park

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This weekend’s opening act comes from an outdoor concert at The Yards Park in Southeast, D.C. The concert held on May 20 marks the first concert in a series at the park. The featured band is Black Masala, a brass band out of Washington, D.C.

This concert kicks off the 6th Annual Friday Night Concert Series at Yards Park, which will run from May 20 through September 2. Every Friday night, the Yards Park will play host to live music from a variety of bands. The series features performers that range from pop, R&B, country, reggae, and more.
