Police charge math teacher with sexual assault

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – A math teacher at a Northern Virginia Community College is facing several charges after police say he raped one of his students and sexually assaulted another. Youssef Taleb, 27, is charged with rape, object sexual penetration and sexual battery.

On May 5, one of Taleb’s students when to police, reporting that she had been sexually assaulted. She told police that on May 3 Taleb offered to help her with her calculus problems and led her into a conference room on the school’s Manassas campus.  One of Taleb’s students went to police May 5 and reported she had been sexually assaulted. She told police Taleb took her into a conference room on the school’s Manassas campus. According to a search warrant, Taleb sexually assaulted her once in teh room. The second victim was sexually assaulted earlier in the semester.

Police searched Taleb’s Fairfax County home and took clothing, a cellphone, documents, and photos. Detectives hope to find transfer evidence of the sex crime on his clothing.

Currently, Taleb is being held in Prince William County.
