Police charge man in fatal shooting of brother

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit charged a man today in the murder of Rashaad Tate. The suspect was identified by police as Jacobi Williams, 29, of the 350 block of 29th Avenue.

On the morning of March 23, 2016, patrol officers responded to a call in the 5000 block of Hil Mar Drive in Forestville. Police found Rashaad Tate outside. He had been shot, as well as set on fire.

After a preliminary investigation, detectives determined the fatal shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute. Williams is being charged with first and second degree murder, according to police. He is in custody of the Department of Corrections and is currently being held without bond.
