Police seek suspect in burglary in Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a burglary incident. That burglary occurred in the 1400 block of 14th Street in Northwest D.C. on May 10.

The suspect broke the window of the facility using a rock and was able to climb his way inside.  Once inside, the suspect attempted to take cash from the register, but police report that nothing was taken.

The person of interest can be seen in this video. 

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a serious crime committed in the District of Columbia.
