Police seek help in finding suspects involved in assault in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and finding several persons of interest in a violent robbery. That robbery took place in the 2600 block of Georgia Ave, Northwest late Sunday night.

An argument broke out between the complainant and suspect which soon escalated into an assault.

Other suspects joined in the fight and then stole property from the complainant.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. DC Crime Solvers currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a serious crime in the District of Columbia.
