Police search for suspect in Maryland hotel stabbing

ANNE ARUNDEL, CO – On April 13th, officers responded to the Red Crown Inn, which is located at 3440 Laurel Fort Meade Road, Laurel, Anne Arundel County in reference to an injured or sick subject. Responding officers located a 25 year-old female that had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Investigation revealed that the victim was attacked by a known associate identified as Dave Benissan-C. An arrest warrant has been issued for Dave Benissan-C charging him with 1st and 2nd Degree Attempted Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment.

Currently, the victim is recovering and has been upgraded to stable condition. Dave Benissan-C is known to frequent the hotels in the Laurel area. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. Dave Benissan-C should be considered armed and dangerous.
