An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin brings two Broadway legends together again at the Kennedy Center’s Eisehower Theatre.

I decided to check this out because it gave us viewers the chance to watch two Tony award winning performers belt out tunes while giving a glimpse into their friendship.

Both Patinkin and LuPone perform some of their most celebrated roles while taking breaks to joke, laugh and even reminisce about their early days on stage.

LuPone and Patinkin earned their reputation as a powerhouse duo after they both won Tony’s for their respective roles in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s play Evita in 1980.  The two revisit that moment on stage.

An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin has only 8 short performances, and ends on Sunday, February 23…so you have to act quick this weekend.  If you want to learn more, you can go to the Kennedy Center’s website.
