2 men assault woman, attempt to remove her clothing in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police say they are searching for two men who allegedly assaulted a woman and tried to remove her clothing early Thursday morning.

The incident happened at the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest around 3 a.m.

Police say the suspect approached the victim and held a brief conversation with her. Then, they proceeded to assault the victim, and threatened to sexually assault her while attempting to remove her clothing. Police say the suspects were unsuccessful and then fled the scene.

Police describe suspect one as a Black male, 30-35 in age, 5’5″ to 5’8″ in height, and having a dark skin tone and shoulder length dreadlocks.

Police describe suspect two as a Black male, in his 30’s, short stature, and having a dark skin tone and short hair.
