WASHINGTON, D.C. - This week's Opening Act is Marvillous Beats, a violinist, composer, and audio engineer from New York. He grew up in a Jamaican family with 5 siblings in New Rochelle, NY where he began playing violin at 8 years old. Despite finishing college with an architecture degree, Marvillous Beats is no stranger to the music industry.
He has produced songs for Interscope Records' recording artists Tory Lanez and performed live with Maybach Music Group/Every Blue Moon's recording artist Wale. Marvillous Beats also has been featured on Fox 5 News, The Washington Post, Blavity, and has performed live on radio in Takoma Park, Maryland. Marvillous Beats has performed at venues such as The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD, The Howard Theatre in Washington DC, and at Takoma Station Tavern every third Wednesday with the Kontrolled Khaos band. The vibe of the Marvillous Beats sound is a unique mix of original classical music and Hip-Hop.
