Police investigate double shooting in Germantown

MONTGOMERY CO., – Police from the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating a double shooting that occurred Tuesday evening in Germantown. Investigators believe that this was not a random event and there is some prior association between the suspect(s) and the victims.

On Tuesday, December 12th, around 6:30 p.m., police received multiple calls for the reports of two persons who had been shot in the area of the 19600 block of Gunners Branch Drive.

When police arrived there were two victims located inside the establishment. A 26-year-old male was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body and a 27-year-old male was suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body.  Both victims were transported to an area hospital.  Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.

This double shooting remains an open investigation.
