Sports trainer arrested in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., Md. – Prince George’s County Police say they have arrested a Baltimore sports trainer in connection with sending an inappropriate picture to a high school student.

Police say Carl Joseph was working with one of the girls basketball teams at Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland as a volunteer trainer. Officials say he is not a Prince George’s County Public Schools employees. Investigators say Joseph texted a picture of his entire body to the victim. Detectives say a student who was aware of the picture notified a teacher.

Joseph was arrested on Monday. Police say he is charged with the solicitation of a minor and displaying obscene nude pictures.
