Man shot in eye through windshield in Dupont Circle
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are looking for a suspect who they say shot a man in the eye while he was a passenger in a car driving through Dupont Circle early this morning.
The shooting took place around 3 a.m. in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest. The driver, who witnessed the shooting, told the police that his passenger rolled his window down and started arguing with the suspect, who was standing next to a parked vehicle.
The witness says that after they argued, the suspect got out a handgun and shot through his windshield, hitting the victim in the eye. The witness sped off and called 911.
The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, wearing a black shirt, standing 5’6″ and weighing about 160 lbs.
