Annapolis teen dies of gunshot wound to head
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — A 17-year-old has died in the hospital after being shot in the head in Annapolis, police say.
The victim, Terry Bosley, was shot on Saturday afternoon. Detectives believe he was walking with a group of people down President Street, when someone in the group who Bosley knew shot him.
The suspect, police say, then fled with the rest of the group in a small blue car. Authorities don’t believe there’s any threat to the public.
“This is an outrageous act of violence to a juvenile in our community,” said Chief Scott Baker. “We just met with the Eastport community on November 14th and have another meeting scheduled for January 16th. We urge community members to come to that meeting and work together on these serious issues of crime and safety.”
Bosley was rushed to the hospital, but died Sunday. Anyone with information about this case can contact Detective Tom Pyles or Detective Charles Bealefeld at 410-260-3439, firstname.lastname@example.org, or email@example.com.
