MONTGOMERY CO., MD. -- Montgomery County Police released more details on Friday about the murder of two Northwest High School seniors who were killed the night before they were set to graduate.

Detectives said the murders were not random and there were multiple attackers. They said that 30 shell casings were recovered from the scene from "multi- caliber firearms".

Detectives added that at least one or both victims knew the attackers, but would not specify a motive for the attack.

Police also asked for more witnesses to come forward with information about the case as they said that they believed there were still people who had not done so.
