ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Eugene Simpson Stadium Park in Alexandria, Va. and the YMCA next door reopened on Saturday to the public, three days after a gunman opened fire on Republican congressmen practicing for a charity baseball game.

While the facilities, including the dog park and batting cage, around the park were in use, the baseball field was not as it is by permit only.

The Alexandria Little League plans to have a reopening ceremony for the field on Monday.
