Brick facade falls, damaging several cars

MONTGOMERY COUNTY., Md. – According to Montgomery County fire officials, part of a brick facade collapsed Wednesday night and damaged several cars.

Officials say the collapse happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night in the 11600 block of Cherry Hill Road. The 40′ long and 6′ tall masonry facade above several stores in a commercial building fell. Several cars were damaged in the collapse, but officials do not report any injuries.

The building inspector, as well as code enforcement, have been on the scene.
