Two officers injured, suspect shot on S. Glebe Road in Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA -- Two officers are injured Wednesday after an officer-involved shooting in Arlington, Virginia.

It all unfolded after 4:30 p.m. on the South Glebe Road ramp of Interstate 395. Officers tried to stop a black pickup truck, but that's when police say, the suspect hit a an officer with a vehicle and officers opened fire striking the suspect.

Police say the officer has serious injuries and medics treated the other officer on the scene.

The Arlington Fire Department says the suspect was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.

Police are still at the scene investigating.
